From your text to a prepared Word document

Phantom Scribe prepares a separate Word copy of your writing with native insertion revisions and a generated character timeline. The cloud workflow runs through this website.

1. Bring your text

Paste text or import a supported TXT, Markdown, DOCX, PDF or image file. Image and scanned PDF imports use OCR. Review and edit the extracted text before continuing; extraction can miss or misread content. Material import warnings must be acknowledged. The local import limit is 20 MB.

2. Choose a cadence

Choose one of 16 writing profiles and adjust words per minute and breaks. These settings describe a generated playback rhythm. They do not record your physical typing.

3. Encode a Word copy

Sign in, review the User Agreement, and select Encode Word document. Your prepared DOCX contains native Word insertion revisions, with Track Changes enabled for subsequent editing. Revision dates reflect actual cloud encoding time.

A supported DOCX import can retain document structures and formatting in a separate prepared copy. Some structures require simplification or cannot be processed. Keep your original and review the prepared document before using it.

4. Review and download

Download the DOCX and inspect its revisions in Word. Preview the generated sequence in your browser, adjust playback speed, seek or step through characters. You can also download playback HTML and the embedded timeline as JSON. Opening the DOCX in Word does not automatically play the timeline.

What is available

Each account starts with one successful free preparation of up to 1,000 words. Paid checkout is not open yet. Google Drive connection depends on service setup; importing and downloading local files does not require it.
